It's great finding Doctors and PTs that do triathlons because they know the "training" mind, they know the athletes don't want to miss too many training days, and they know from their studying AND from experience where the aches and pains come from when training for a triathlon.
The PT moved R's seat up about 1.5" which should help his knee. He also put a longer stem on the bike (that's the stick like thing that holds up your handlebars). The new one brings the bars closer to him and he won't have to bend over as far on the bike - that's good for 45+ yr old backs.
We had out of town guests for the week, so R took a couple weeks off. I did some P90X, but we didn't get outside at all. It's rather rude to go on a bike ride with company sitting in your house, so we had dessert instead!
