I will have pictures in a day or so, but I wanted to post that we both survived and R did a FANTASTIC job.
It was so GREAT to see him run over the finish line and we both cried.

R's goal was to finish before 8 hours so he could get a Ironman medal and he finished in 7 hours 42 minutes.

My goal was to finish the bike course in 4-4.5 hours and I finished in 4 hours 11 minutes and made it STRAIGHT up the hills....all of them. I didn't even try to zig-zag because it would have been a penalty. Our team finished before 8 hours too, so we also received a medal.

Tomorrow, I'll write what will most likely be the longest post ever. I'll include pictures, details, and what we learned along the way.
