Done with P90X and onto Turbo Fire

As I previously posted, I almost finished the entire 3 month P90X exercise DVD program when I had to have minor surgery. Unfortunately after the mandatory 2 week rest period after the surgery, I had a hard time motivating myself to start P90X again. Being the beginning of the Holiday season didn't help, but I kept envisioning the repetitious workouts and the moderator's voice on P90X and I just couldn't get started.

Now that it's February, I'm REALLY need some endorphins going again.

Late one night, I saw an infomercial with a new DVD workout but this time it's created by a woman, seems pretty intense, and she uses loud dance music as a motivator. Music is what keeps me going while running, so I watched the infomercial at least 4 different times before finally ordering it.
It arrived last Saturday, so I'm starting it tomorrow.

It's called Turbo Fire!
It's alot more cardio than P90X and the reviews state, it's more about burning fat than building muscle.
Burning fat...building muscle - hmmmm, I need both, so I guess if I feel there's just too much fat burning and need a tad more muscle building, I'll substitute a couple P90X workouts in the week and see how that works.

The 2011 triathlon season is getting closer and closer so I need to see if I can get into the type of shape that I'm willing to run in a bathing suit from the swim area to the bike area.
Yikes...that's a scary thought.
