This one is a paint product from Sherwin Williams called SOLO.
I posted pictures during the summer of the front door we painted in semi-gloss so you can see what it looked like back then.
Well, this is what it is doing now.
Because we noticed it was chalking up in random places, we decided to wash it down with water on a rag so there was nothing on it and then test it out and start drawing on it.
This is the door when it started getting colder. More designs and more chalky look as well.

It's also not semi-gloss, but a matt finish for some reason.
It's so weird.....
I went into Sherwin Williams to tell them what's been going on and they took the remaining paint to see if it has a bacteria in it. They also sent the SOLO sales rep to look at the door.
He said he's only seen this once of other case and said he washed their down with soap and water and didn't tell me which soap. It helped, but there's still a few marks. Nothing like before though.
We are asking for new paint (gloss this time) and want the store to pay for it to be re-painted.
We will have to wait until spring or summer, but there's something wrong with this paint and I don't want it on the door to keep doing something new every year.
