So after the sanding, we were kicked out after the wood filler was applied.
This is us in the hotel. Poor Rick. He reserved a room and it turned out there was only one bed instead of two...and there were 3 people. Rick ended up sleeping on 2 chairs that he turned into a couch.
Thankfully he was having a fun time anyway.
While we were in the hotel, the wood finishers were very busy.
They applied wood filler and let it dry for a short time,
sanded it off,
applied stain and let it dry,
applied first coat of oil based Swedish finish and let it dry for 24 hours.
We couldn't wait to see the floor so we went back to the house that evening and peeked.

The next day we went back to the house to let the wood finishers back in to do the 2nd coat of Swedish finish.
He let us walk around before they started. It smelled bad, but it was so pretty.
And now for the grand tour of the finished floor!!!!!
