GRANITE INSTALL - It feels like Christmas!

Actually happened 12/11/14, but just posting now.

I am so excited I can't sit still. The granite company was a couple hours late and I couldn't help but watch through the window everytime I heard what I thought was a truck or bigger vehicle.

Here's the sink they will install:

They had to cut a little bit off the granite to make it fit so I followed them out....

yes, today I'm a granite guy stalker!

It's coming along nicely...

and then they hit a problem. Where two pieces had to be seamed together, the granite wasn't the same thickness on both pieces.  They blamed the cabinet installer saying he installed the cabinets crooked, but they would have seen that when they measured the template.  The cabinet installer came over to help them figure it out and it turns out that  the cabinets were off by a very small amount, but the granite was off by more of an amount than the cabinets.

They figured it all out and all's well,

but nobody wanted to take the blame on this one...it was funny.
