Unfortunately we had no choice but to say goodbye.

Well, the time came....even after our talk, the contractor just wouldn't show up everyday.
Our house is torn up and we still haven't moved into our house fully yet and nothing was getting done on the days the contractor ditched the job, so we had to meet and say goodbye.

This is NOT the way we wanted it to end and still are so disappointed that this is the way it turned out. The weird thing is that after the original meeting with him to end it with him, he seemed to be fine because he had to come back to fix a creek in a stair and was cordial, but then all of a sudden he would no longer talk to us.

It is over now, but this is still not the way we wanted to end our relationship.  Even if the writing was "on the wall" and he didn't want to do the job, we still wished it would have ended with the project complete and us all happy.
